This week, the Prosecutor’s Office will request a nine-year prison sentence for the man who stabbed his partner in Arrecife in 2020.
Two years ago, the man was arrested by National Police after stabbing his partner, who was later taken to the Dr Jose Molina Orosa hospital with multiple serious injuries.
In a previous hearing it was explained that “he slammed her against the wall, grabbed her by the neck in an attempt to suffocate her, and also broke her glasses and mobile phone.”.
The Prosecutor’s Office will request a nine-year prison sentence in court this week, which also includes a payment of 30,000 euros in compensation to the victim and a restraining order of 500 metres for 15 years.
