The lifts at the main terminal of Lanzarote’s César Manrique Airport will be renovated at a cost of €465,000.
Directors of the airport have given the project the nod, and it will take place in two phases, presumably in order to allow one of the two lifts to remain operational. Works are expected to be carried out in the early morning, to disrupt normal service at the airport as little as possible.
The outdoor lift at the airport is over 25 years old, and both lifts are notably slow.
