Motorcyclist seriously injured after collision in Teguise

A motorcyclist has been seriously injured after colliding with a car in Teguise.

The incident took place on the Avenida Guanarteme in Tiagua, just before midday yesterday, and was attended by local police and paramedics.

The 45-year-old victim was diagnosed with serious head injuries and rushed to the Dr José Molina Orosa Hospital in a medicalised ambulance.

Later in the day another collision, this time between a car and a van, occurred on the road between Tahiche and Nazaret. Three people were attended by paramedics and two of them were taken to hospital with “light injuries”.
