The yellow wind alert for Lanzarote has now been lifted, although some strong breezes are expected today and tomorrow.

Although the island remains under a pre-alert for wind and rough seas issued by the Canarian Government, Spain’s weather agency AEMET has lifted all alerts for the eastern Canary Islands.

That doesn’t mean the weather’s going to get much better, though. Forecasts indicate that wind speeds will decrease over the next couple of days, but temperatures will remain low, between 13 and 18 degrees, during daytime.

AEMET’s current forecast also predicts a high probability of some rainfall from Wednesday afternoon to Friday.
