Spain’s state meteorological agency, AEMET, has forecast a mini-heatwave lasting from Wednesday until the weekend, which will be accompanied by a light calima (dust in the air).
Temperatures are predicted to reach a maximum of 30 degrees today and tomorrow, and will be accompanied by mild calima conditions.
The heat and dust levels are not yet sufficient to issue a yellow alert, but those who are vulnerable to calimas are advised to stay indoors, keep doors and windows closed and stay hydrated.
