A man was seriously injured on Saturday after falling several metres from the rocks at Los Hervideros.
The incident was reported at 2.44 pm and local police initially attended the zone, where they established that the services of a rescue helicopter were required.
The victim was then airlifted to a safe location where he was transferred to an ambulance and taken to hospital with a serious head injury.
