LZ-402 Famara road closed

The LZ-402 road to Caleta de Famara will be closed until after Christmas while resurfacing works are carried out.

The length of the road between the roundabout near the Teguise Agro-industrial Complex and the village of Caleta will be closed, meaning access will be via Soo.

The roadworks will cost €422,000. Jacob Medina, the Cabildo’s Public Works councillor, said “The road was clearly deteriorating, and we had to take action. We apologise to residents and visitors for the inconvenience.”
