Lanzarote’s hotels were very busy in February with Costa Teguise, Tias & Yaiza all recording increases in occupancy compared to last year.

Costa Teguise was jam-packed in February, with 99.74% of hotel rooms occupied – an increase of 12% on the same month last year.

The other resort zones also did well. Tías registered 94.2% occupation, slightly higher than last year. Yaiza also improved on last year’s figures with 90.44% occupation.

The average length of stay on Lanzarote is 6.66 days, the second-highest on the Canaries after Fuerteventura, where tourists stay for 7.1 days on average.
