According to data published by Lanzarote’s Data Centre, the island’s hotels 71 million euros in March, 27% more than March 2023.
As detailed in the data published by Lanzarote’s Data Centre, hotels earned 71 million euros (27% increase) and other holiday apartments and hostels earned 17.3 million euros (6% increase).
The average cost per night in hotels reached 137 euros in March this year, a 17% increase over last year while other holiday apartments and hostels cost an average of 80 euros per night, a 7% increase.
The average stay remains at 7 days but is down -2%. In March this year hotels saw a 90% occupancy while other holiday apartments and hostels saw an 86% occupancy.
According to a study by the Canarian Institute of Statistics (ISTAC), 270,246 tourists stayed in regulated establishments, most of which went to hotels (194,509).
