Holiday properties on Lanzarote generated 26.1 million euros last December, 7.5 million euros more than December 2023.
According to data provided by ISTAC (Canary Islands Statistics Institute), 97.2% of the 8,209 holiday properties on the island were booked last December.
Those properties generated 26.1 million euros that month, compared to 18.5 million euros that was generated in December 2023.
The average nightly rate of holiday properties increased by 26% compared to the previous December, to an average of 203 euros per night.
The average nightly rate of properties with up to four beds also increased by 26% to 129 euros per night, while those with up to eight beds increased their prices by 24.5% to an average of 284 euros per night.
Properties with more than eight beds charged an average of 552 euros per night last December, 32% more than December 2023.
The average stay remained almost identical with 4.85 days in December 2024 and 4.83 days in December 2023.
