Navilan, Arrecife’s Christmas fair by the Charco de San Ginés, finally opened yesterday evening after Storm Emilia postponed the Friday night launch.
With a big wheel, a roller coaster, an ice rink and several other attractions, as well as plenty of wooden stalls selling all manners of Christmas gifts and items, Navilan is must-visit for anyone who want to get into the Christmas spirit.
Entry on the first night was free, but we haven’t been able to establish whether this will be the case for the whole of the fair, following speculation last week that an entry of fee of €5 for adults and €2 may be charged.
The fair is located on the Solar de Ginory, a patch of wasteland by the Charco de San Ginés that is usually used for car parking. However, access on the first night was on the opposite side of the lagoon, just over the bridge by the gigantic snowman. We’d advise taking public transport or being prepared for a walk as parking is scarce near the fair.
