The Lanzarote Data Centre have just released tourism figures for October this year.
The Centro de Datos is a great source for all things Lanzarote data, and they have just published October 2022’s tourism numbers.
In 2022, October has been Lanzarote’s second most popular month falling just short of August’s total of 278,200 tourists. October also saw the highest number of British tourists in 2022 with over 130,000.
The tourist figures for October 2022 are as follows:
Spain – 32,071
Germany – 21,531
Belgium – 4,064
France – 18,690
Netherlands – 7,860
Ireland – 24,128
Italy – 9,968
Nordic Countries – 8,465
United Kingdom – 133,343
Other – 11,974
TOTAL – 272,094
October 2019 figures in comparison with October 2022 figures:
Spain – 21,546 (32.8% less than in October 22′)
Germany – 29,524 (37% more than in October 22′)
Belgium – 4,061 (0.07% less than in October 22′)
France – 13,364 (28.5% less than in October 22′)
Netherlands – 9,315 (18.5% more than in October 22′)
Ireland – 27,378 (13% more than in October 22′)
Italy – 4,525 (54.6% less than in October 22′)
Nordic Countries – 9,315 (10% more than in October 22′)
United Kingdom – 128,197 (3.8% less than in October 22′)
Other – 12,899 (7.7% more than in October 22′)
TOTAL – 258,722
