Lanzarote hotel rates up 10% in June

The average hotel rates on Lanzarote were 10% higher in June compared to last year, at an average of 129.8 euros per night.

The average hotel rates in June last year were 117.2 euros per night.

Hotel occupancy rates were highest in the resorts in June, with Yaiza reaching 87.5%, Teguise reaching 86.1%, and Tias reaching 83.7%.

The main destinations for Spanish residents in Spain in June were Andalusia (21.7%), Catalonia (15.3%) and Valencia (13.1%) of total overnight stays.

The main destinations for non-residents were the Balearic Islands (33.7%), Catalonia (18.7%) and the Canary Islands (17.8%) of the total overnight stays.
