Lanzarote holiday rental boom in February

Holiday rental properties on Lanzarote made over €24 million in February, an average of €3,314 for each of the 7,290 registered viviendas vacacionales.

319 more holiday lets are in operation than during February last year, contributing to an overall turnover that is €7.5 million higher than February 2024.

Figures have been heading steadily upward in recent months, a result perhaps of the boom in holiday rental properties that has taken place since the Canarian Government announced its new law regulating the sector. This February, bookings were 95.4%, with an average stay of 5 days and an average nightly rate of €203.
