The Cabildo has unveiled the details for the third edition of Lanzarote Fashion Weekend, the island’s premier sustainable fashion event. Scheduled from 6th to 8th November 2025.

This year’s programme promises a showcase of renowned fashion brands and designers, highlighting both local and national talent as they present their trends for the upcoming season.

Aroa Revelo, the Cabildo’s Minister of Industry, expressed her gratitude to the companies, designers, and public entities that have supported the event. Revelo emphasised that this third edition underscores the Lanzarote Moda programme’s firm commitment to continuing to promote local talent and the island’s creative industry.

“This event has become Lanzarote’s fashion event par excellence, a space where current trends and creativity are embraced without compromising the signature designs of the participating designers,” said the minister.

The 2025 event will feature a roster of professional models, adding significant star power to the catwalks. Confirmed names include the nationally renowned Canarian model Luna Zacarias; the model and male fashion icon on the islands, Jesús Lemes; and the Lanzarote model with extensive experience on catwalks and in advertising campaigns, Miguel Peña Betancort.

Event Programme Highlights

The festivities commence on Thursday, 6th November, at 6:00 p.m. with ‘Fashion Talks’ at the Arrecife Gran Hotel & Spa. These talks are designed as a meeting point and forum for the exchange of ideas among sector professionals, addressing current issues related to creativity, sustainability, and trends. This edition will feature model and presenter Laura Sánchez, a leading figure in Spanish fashion and television, and designer Eduardo Navarrete, known for his groundbreaking style and commitment to personal identity in design.

The main fashion shows and a designer market will then be held on Friday, 7th and Saturday, 8th November at Lanzarote Golf in Tías. The official opening on Friday at 6:00 p.m. will include a gala tribute to designer María Cao, honouring her outstanding professional career.

In a move to make fashion accessible to all, the third edition of Lanzarote Fashion Weekend can be attended in person and will be free of charge. The aim is to bring fashion and design closer to the general public and encourage participation in an event that uniquely combines creativity, culture, and tourism.

With this event, the Industry Department of the Cabildo of Lanzarote, with the support of Turismo Lanzarote and PROEXCA, reinforces its support for the creative sector and emerging talent, solidifying the island’s position as a benchmark for fashion and culture in the Canary Islands.
