A large storm, named Óscar is currently south-west of the Azores, and is predicted to bring rain and high winds to the western Canary Islands in mid-week. However, Lanzarote, La Graciosa and Fuerteventura are currently the only islands where a yellow alert has not been activated.
A 50% probability of rain is currently forecast for Wednesday and Thursday morning, and both of these days are predicted to be cloudy. Northern winds and fine weather are expected to make a return by the end of the week.
