Lanzarote’s César Manrique Airport registered 703,457 passengers in January this year, 0.3% more than last year.
In January 2026, Canary Islands airports registered a total of 4,592,312 passengers, 0.1% more than in the same month last year.
Of the total number of passengers recorded, 4,572,756 were commercial flight passengers, of whom 1,583,175 flew on domestic routes, 2% less than in January 2025, and 2,989,581 on international routes, 1.8% more.
Traffic by Airports (January 2026)
Gran Canaria Airport recorded the highest number of passengers, with 1,398,924, representing a 2.1% increase on January 2025.
It was followed by Tenerife South Airport with 1,275,134 passengers (-1%); César Manrique-Lanzarote Airport with 703,457 (+0.3%); Fuerteventura Airport with 533,137 (-3%); Tenerife North-Ciudad de La Laguna Airport with 525,988 (+1.1%); La Palma with 125,063 (-0.9%); El Hierro with 21,629 (-5.3%) and La Gomera Airport with 8,980 passengers (-1.4%).
