This week, members from the Lanzarote Cabildo attended Jet2’s 20th anniversary celebrations at the 2023 International Tourism Fair (Fitur).
The event took place at the Palacio de los Duques Gran Meliá in Madrid, with Jet2 CEO, Steve Heapy, present along with representatives from tourism institutions across Spain.
During the event, members from the Lanzarote Cabildo thanked Jet2 for their longstanding commitment to Lanzarote.
Jet2 representatives highlighted that a promising summer looks likely this year. Lanzarote will be a part of the destinations offered in 114 routes from the UK.
Additionally, Jet2 stated that they will increase the number of seats offered on flights between the UK and Spain by 4%, which will mean 660 weekly flights.
