Jameos del Agua bather caught on video

A video of a French tourist bathing next to the pool at Jameos del Agua has caused controversy on social media this week.

In the video (sent by a guide at the centre and published by Isla Sin Corrupcion on Facebook) the tourist can be seen lying down near the water in a bathing suit. Staff members at Jameos del Agua then told the woman that it is prohibited to swim at the pool, and she replied by wagging her finger at a staff member.

This isn’t the first time that visitors to the centre have tried to get in the pool. Last month, the CACT announced that they would implement “self-protection mechanisms” to avoid “inappropriate behaviour and attitudes” that have been experienced at the Jameos del Agua in recent years.
