Islote de Fermina extends hours

The Islote de Fermina in Arrecife will open until midnight on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays.

The Manrique-designed pool complex that lies 100 metres offshore at the foot of the Gran Hotel has previously closed at 5pm and will continue to do so from Sunday to Wednesday, but will remain open until midnight on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays.

According to tourism councillor Ángel Vázquez, this will allow “our visitors to enjoy one of the best sunsets on the island in this privileged place.” 

Dining will also be available on the Islote, with the kitchen open until 10pm. A cocktail menu will also be on offer, and DJs will play music on Fridays and Saturdays.

There is no further news on when or if the pools will be opened to the public.
