The Plataforma Feminista 8M Lanzarote have announced a demonstration that will take place this Friday, March 8th, at 4pm in Arrecife.
In the demonstration, that will begin at La Plazuela de Arrecife at 4pm this Friday, there will be statements read from different groups on the island spreading awareness about their causes.
The event has been organised between Plataforma Feminista 8-M Lanzarote and the Foro Contra la Violencia de Género, in collaboration with Arrecife Ayuntamiento and the Cabildo.
ALMACEN FEMME
In addition to the demonstration this Friday, a new event “Almacen Femme” brings musical performances from female musicians this Saturday.
DJ Monterreina – March 9th
DJ Monterreina is recognized for her skill in fusing rhythms from around the world, creating a musical experience that transcends borders.
The concert will take place at the El Almacen in Arrecife at 5pm. Free entry.
Pat Llombet – March 9th

Jela – March 9th
Tenerife singer Jela will get on the stage of El Almacén to make you dance with her first album, “Templo”.
The concert will take place at the El Almacen in Arrecife at 6:15pm. Free entry.
