The new Indian Gourmet restaurant & lounge bar opened in Playa Blanca last week to glowing reviews from diners.
Indian Gourmet restaurant & lounge bar is a new adventure by the owners of the ever-popular Indian Delights restaurant in the centre of Playa Blanca. After weeks of preparation to make sure everything was exactly how they wanted it, owners Ramesh and Sara opened the new restaurant on Calle Las Palmas, 4, San Marcial next to the large SuperDino supermarket.
The new restaurant features an open kitchen where diners can see the talented chefs at work, a large bar and, of course, plenty of seating.
Those of who you know restaurant owners Ramesh & Sara will know that they put everything into the preparation for every dish on the menu. Hours of preparation goes into making base gravies & marinated meats, and no corners are cut in the cooking process.
Their motto “everything that we do is for the love of food” shows in the reviews that Indian Gourmet has received in its first week of being open:

Regional Specials
The new restaurant also boasts a new menu with some very special additions including regional specials from the north, east, south and west of India.
Explore the north with their Amritsari curry, the east with their Rezala curry, the west with their Kolhapuri curry and the south with their Chettinad curry. All of which are made authentically and with care.

Of course, you can also expect to find the Indian dishes that so many have come to love including favourites such as chicken tikka masala, korma, rogan josh, madras, jalfrezi and butter chicken.
