Two home rescues were carried out on Lanzarote yesterday by emergency services.
In the first incident, a woman was reported asd not answering calls in her home in Calle Belgica in Puerto del Carmen. Firemen broke the lock on the door and paramedics stabilised the woamn before transferring her to an ambulance.
Later, at 6pm, a man suffered an accident in an upper-floor apartment on Calle Paraguay in Arrecife. Firemen used a cherry-picker crane to reach the apartment and bring the man to ground, where he was taken to the hospital in an ambulance.
