Hiker rescued in Los Ajaches

A hiker was rescued by emergency services yesterday after suffering a fall In Los Ajaches in Playa Blanca.

At approximately 1pm yesterday afternoon, the emergency services were alerted to a female hiker that had suffered a fall and could not continue her hike in Los Ajaches.

A helicopter and ambulance were sent to the site to attend the hiker who had suffered a moderate leg injury. She was airlifted to the local fire fighter’s helipad where an ambulance was waiting nearby to then take her to the Dr Jose Molina Orosa hospital in Arrecife for further treatment.
