Lanzarote can expect a heatwave next Monday, with highs of 35 degrees Celsius.
According to AEMET (Spain’s Meteorological Agency) Lanzarote can expect temperature highs of 35 degrees Celsius from next Monday, June 26th.
Many residents and tourist have felt the temperatures rising this week, with the island feeling muggy the past couple of days.
AEMET forecast a 20% chance of rain over the weekend, before the island really turns the heat up.
No temperature warnings have been put in place by the meteorological agency.
