Haría Ayuntamiento have reopened the natural pool at Punta Mujeres after the last water analysis came back negative for traces of sewage.

Last week a burst pipe leaked sewage into some of the natural pools at Punta Mujeres, forcing Haría Ayuntamiento to close the pools and conduct tests to determine the safety of the water for bathers.

In the latest test they found no traces of sewage or harmful bacteria.

However, Haría Ayuntamiento emphasis that swimming at Playa Grande remains forbidden until further notice and until contamination levels remit completely.
