The emergency services were alerted to another rubbish container fire on the island, this time in Teguise.
Fire fighters were alerted to the incident at approximately 4:30pm on Sunday afternoon.
Upon arrival on Calle Garajonay the fire fighters found three glass recycling containers and one cardboard container destroyed by a fire, and a nearby tree was also damaged.
The fire was safely extinguished, and no injuries were reported.
