Flight returns to Lanzarote due to medical complications

A flight from Lanzarote to Gran Canaria had to return to the island yesterday after one of the passengers reported a medical issue to flight staff.

A Binter flight from Lanzarote to Gran Canaria was forced to return to the César Manrique yesterday due to a medical complication onboard.

According to Controladores Aéreos on social media platform X, the plane doubled back on itself 15 minutes into the flight. The return of the plane coincided with the arrival of medical staff on the ground who were ready to assist the passenger as soon as the plane had landed.

The air traffic controllers wish the passenger a speedy recovery.
