Five affected in head-on collision of two cars in Costa Teguise

Five people, including two children, have been affected in a head-on collision between two cars yesterday morning in Costa Teguise.

The emergency services were alerted at approximately 10:30am on the Avenida del Golf in Costa Teguise after reports of a head-on collision between two cars.

Upon arrival, medical staff assisted the five affected, which included two children aged 8 and 11 who suffered moderate back injuries as a result of the crash. The three adults, a 63-year-old man with abdominal pain, 69-year-old and 46-year-old woman who were unharmed but understandably shaken up were all transferred to a hospital for further treatment.
