Firemen rescued a hiker who had fallen on the access road to the Volcán del Cuervo yesterday.
The incident occurred before 9 am, when emergency service received a call. On arriving at the scene, they discovered that a tourist had fallen and fractured her left ankle.
Her leg was splinted, and she was taken to the parking area, where paramedics took charge and transported her to the Dr José Molina Orosa Hospital.
