Firefighters called to numerous fires in Arrecife

Firefighters were called to numerous rubbish bin fires in Arrecife last Sunday.

It started at approximately 11:30pm last Sunday night, when the emergency services received a report of a fire on Calle Guatemala in Arrecife.

Upon arrival, firefighters found that a cardboard recycling container had been set on fire. It was safely extinguished

Shortly after, the emergency services received another report on Calle Nicaragua at around half past midnight. Firefighters found an organic waste container that had been set on fire. It was safely extinguished.

Finally, they received a report about another fire on Calle Castillo de Las Coloradas. Upon arrival, they found that another cardboard recycling bin on fire. It was safely extinguished.
