The emergency services were alerted to a woman who had suffered a fall near the Varadero in Puerto del Carmen last night.
At approximately 7pm, fire fighters were called to the scene to help the woman who had fallen and become stuck.
The woman was placed in a neck brace by ambulance staff and was later taken to the Dr Jose Molina Orosa hospital in Arrecife.
