Fire damages bins and streetlamp in Costa Teguise

A fire broke out in the early hours of Saturday morning on Calle Las Olas in Costa Teguise, destroying several waste containers and a streetlamp.

Firefighters received an alert at 1:50 a.m. reporting a rubbish container on fire in the area.

Upon arrival, crews confirmed the fire had spread to a cardboard recycling cage, two organic waste containers, and an adjacent streetlamp. The blaze was extinguished and no injuries were reported.

The two organic waste containers were destroyed in the incident. Local Police also attended the scene.
