False alarm at Playa Blanca shopping centre

Guardia Civil evacuated the shopping centre at Marina Rubicon in Playa Blanca this weekend, after a suspicious object” was reported.

The incident occurred at 9pm on Saturday, when Guardia Civil officers closed off the centre to investigate a possible explosive device.

When it was established that it was a false alarm, the centre was re-opened.
