We’d like to start the New Year with a splash, and so we’ve decided to revive our selfie competition and get a close look at Gazette readers enjoying this fantastic island. Winners will win a fantastic trip to Rancho Texas!
The last time we held a selfie competition, it was in the summer. This time, we’ve decided to hold it in the New Year, when the island is cooler, but perhaps even more beautiful than ever.
All you have to do is take a selfie somewhere on Lanzarote – up a volcano, on a beach, wherever you like. All we ask is that the selfie shows a little of your character, and reflects life on Lanzarote – whether it’s wild fun or serene beauty.
Then send it to us via Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp 621 274 473 or email at editorial@gazettelife.com with your name, where you live and short description of the photo (where it was taken, who’s in it, why you chose it etc). The closing date for entries will be 15th February, giving you a good six weeks to sort your selfie out.
All entries will be judged by the keen eye of our resident photographer Sabrina. The winners will be announced in our March edition, and their selfies will be printed.
Entries from kids are also welcome, but remember that we’ll need permission from parents or guardians to be able to publish them.
Prizes: We have three adult and child tickets to Rancho Texas theme park for the lucky winners, and three bottles of La Geria wine for the runners up.
