El Grifo acquires El Caserio de Mozaga

Bodegas El Grifo has acquired the Caserio de Mozaga in order to offer the “complete wine-tasting experience.”

The Caserio is a boutique hotel in the heart of Lanzarote, located in a listed 18^th century building, and is just a few kilometres from El Grifo, Lanzarote’s oldest winery.

The Otamendi brothers, owners of El Grifo, expressed their pleasure at acquiring the property, where their mother spent many summers when she was younger.

“The purchase of El Caserio is a key step in the evolution of El Grifo as a base for wine tourism,” the brothers stated.
