Drunk driver crashes into eight cars, two homes and injures a minor in Arrecife

A 24-year-old man has been charged after crashing into eight cars, two homes and injuring a minor while driving under the influence in Arrecife.

According to a report in La Voz, the driver lost control of the vehicle and collided with several parked car. After mounting the pavement, one off the wheels came off the car and hit a minor who was walking down the street at the time.

After this the 24-year-old driver continued to drive around the corner hitting two houses before coming to a stop after hitting an electricity pole.

The 24-year-old tested positive for being over the legal limit and has been summoned for a speedy trial.
