Driver had to be freed from vehicle after crash near Matagorda

A van driver had to be extracted from her vehicle by firemen following a collision on the LZ-40 road near Matagorda yesterday.

The incident took place at around 12.30 yesterday afternoon and was attended by firemen, Guardia Civil officers and members of Tías’s Civil Protection service.

The driver was taken to hospital with “moderate” injuries after being freed from the vehicle, while the driver of the other vehicle was treated for a panic attack.
