Puerto del Carmen’s Plaza de las Naciones at Los Pocillos will host a Chinese Dragon Boat Festival this afternoon.
The event will feature Chinese food, music by local band Treintytantos, Circo de Lanzarote, dragon boats created by the Marlins Club and wine from Bodega Vulcano Lanzarote.
Tias Mayor José Juan Cruz and Jaime Jiang, leader of the Foundation to Assist the Chinese Community, have urged residents and visitors to come to the event and enjoy this “great meeting of communities and cultures.”
The festival will start at 12:30pm (until 5pm) at the Plaza de las Naciones in Puerto del Carmen. Entry free.
