Dentist arrested in Costa Teguise

In February two people were arrested by the Guardia Civil in Costa Teguise for practising dentistry without licence to do so in Spain.

The Guardia Civil opened an investigation into the dental clinic last month, to check as to whether the dentist was licenced to practice in Spain. Once it had been verified that they didn’t have the necessary licences to do so, the dentist was arrested at the end of February.

In addition to the dentist, the manager of the dental clinic was also arrested for allowing the dentist to work there.
