A 60-year old French citizen was killed after being hit by one of Yaiza’s taxis in the early morning of January 1st.
Emergency services received a call at 6.25 am., alerting them to an accident on Calle Berrugo in Playa Blanca. Upon arrival at the scene, it was discovered that the man had died in the accident, and firemen proceeded to extract the body from underneath the vehicle.
