Daredevil or idiot? TikToker films himself jumping into Telamon shipwreck

TikToker Alex Segura has posted several videos of himself performing highly dangerous stunts on the Telamon shipwreck between Arrecife and Costa Teguise.

Segura, whose channel specialises in parkour stunts, is shown leaping from the rusted deck of the ship into the pool inside the hold of the ship. One of the videos, which was posted last week, has received more than 800,000 views.

Access to the Telamon is strictly forbidden, given that the shipwreck is so rusty that it is liable to collapse at any time. There is no indication that any action will be taken against Segura, however.  Meanwhile, the rusting hulk of the Telamon remains in place, after a salvage operation was suspended in 2023.
