Dangerous driver under investigation

Guardia Civil are investigating a man on charges of dangerous driving without a licence, after an incident on 13^th March.

The accused is alleged to have put other road users in danger by erratic driving on the LZ-301 (Montaña Blanca – Gúime – Playa Honda road). After crossing into the opposing lane several times, his vehicle eventually left the road and was badly damaged, while the driver fled on foot.

The accused was identified by the Road Accident Unit in Arrecife, and had also been reported by a workmate after arriving at work in an upset state with injuries.

The accused could face up to two years six months in prison.
