The Partido Popular have requested a daily bus connection between Tinajo and Playa Blanca “to make it possible for Tinajo residents to travel to their workplace with which there is currently no connection.”.

“The reality is that most of the employment generated on the island is related to tourism and the service sector, meaning that the capital and the tourist resorts are the ones that generate more jobs”, stated PP councillor, Jacobo Medina.

The Partido Popular have presented a proposal urging the implementation of a bus route that connects Tinajo with Playa Blanca, with the aim to make it possible for Tinajo residents to travel to their place of work by public transport.

“The new job opportunities that will soon become available in Playa Blanca, coupled with the high price of fuel, highlights the importance of launching this new route that could provide a daily connection that allows residents to travel to their place of work early in the morning and return home at the end of the day”, stated PP councillor, Ramón Ortiz.
