Cyclist rescued in La Graciosa

Emergency services were called to La Graciosa yesterday morning, after reports that a cyclist had suffered a fall on Playa Las Conchas.

The incident occurred at around 11:30am when emergency services were alerted to a cyclist that had suffered a fall and fractured their hip on Playa Las Conchas in La Graciosa.

Upon arrival, they assessed the injured cyclist and later requested the intervention of a helicopter due to terrain conditions.

He was transferred to the Centro de Salud on La Graciosa before being transported to Lanzarote by boat.
