Cyclist in serious condition after crashing into a wall

A 55-year-old man is reported to be seriously injured after hitting a wall while cycling through Los Valles in Teguise.

The emergency services were alerted to the incident yesterday morning at approximately 10am. They were called to Avenida Granaldea with reports of a cyclist in serious condition.

Upon arrival the ambulance staff assessed that the 55-year-old had suffered a serious head injury and he was then taken to the Dr Jose Molina Orosa hospital in Arrecife for further treatment.
