Arrecife will see more than 20,000 tourists arrive on five cruise ships this week.
Luxury Italian inter Costa Firenze docked at the Arrecife port yesterday before continuing on its route through the North Atlantic at 8pm.
Today will see two more cruise ships arrive at the port. First of which is already docked, the Mv Zuiderdam which arrives from Funchal. The second cruise ship to arrive will be Mein Schiff 4 at 8pm tonight, from Agadir.
Tomorrow, Royal Caribbean International’s “Anthem of the Seas” and MSC Cruises’ “MSC Divina” cruise ships will arrive at the port.
Mayor of Arrecife, Yonathan de León, has stressed that cruise activity brings commercial and hospitality activity to the capital of Lanzarote, strengthening the autumn and winter season generating higher revenues at establishments in the Charco de San Ginés and the seafront.
