Crime on Lanzarote rose by 4.3% in the first three quarters of 2025 compared to the average over the years from 2022-2024.
Tías and Teguise saw the largest increases, with both municipalities registering an increase in crimes of just over 10%. Arrecife, however, saw its crime rate fall by 2.3%.
The crime figures, released by Spain’s Ministry of the interior, cover conventional crimes and cyber-crimes, and include all offences subject to criminal penalties.
