Students at the Colegio Hispano Británico school in Puerto del Carmen have smashed previous records once again in the annual GCSE & A Level results.

Every year the school hosts the Cambridge Gold Awards ceremony, honouring its students who attainted the highest marks in Spain.

At the event CHB Headmaster, Roger Deign, stated, “We are committed to providing all students with a future filled with success and independence. For those who face learning difficulties, we work hard until they reach the same level as their peers. Here in Lanzarote, we offer a safe and free space for girls to express themselves and live fully despite external pressures. We encourage their personal development, promote equality and empowerment.”

“Education in each country is developed to prepare young people to be useful in society. The effectiveness of each country’s education system. This is easily demonstrated by the percentage of young people who can find employment.”

“At Hispano Britanico we strive to ensure that their children have the opportunity not only to easily find a job, but also to find the most interesting, satisfying and well-paid job possible. The British education system, with its 13 years of study, is the only one capable of teaching the knowledge necessary to gain access to the United Kingdom’s demanding universities. It is at these universities that graduates are selected for the most attractive jobs in the world.”

“It was on this island, in 1976, that the British system was expanded to include Spanish, creating the British Hispanic Education System®. It was later adopted throughout Spain in its Royal Decree 1110/78. China also copied our system and replaced Spanish with Mandarin in its Resolution of March 1, 2003. Finally, Chinese students could access the best universities in Great Britain, and 50% of university students are now Asian.”
