Cesar Manrique’s Arrieta wind toy returns

The “wind toy” that Cesar Manrique created in 1992 has been returned to Arrieta roundabout.

The large, red mobile sculpture was removed for repairs earlier this year after being damaged by high winds.

Cabildo Public Works Councillor Jacobo Medina said “Today we can once more enjoy the Arrieta Wind Toy in all its splendour. The repairs were a commitment not only to the safety of citizens, but also respect for the legacy of César Manrique.”
